Specialist Knowledge and Skills

Goal setting: Self-confident guitar playing (preferred picking) while singing, all confront of the audience. My strategy is to warm up first. First of all my hands, to play the guitar properly and so that I can practice the melody better. Because I am new to singing at the moment, I don't have strategy yet for that. I think what I should try the next time, is to do some exercises, where I go from a low to a high tone, so I will be more confident to sing higher infant of others. Audition process: What I do when I choose a song to play at performances, is to look for something what is in my kind of vocal range, but still is challenging. We had the first and second Fuse night already. At the first one I chose a song fro Adele. The song starts low first and then ends with an high highlight. Because I couldn't sing the high bi in the song first, I tried to sing it an octave lower. At the second one I sang something higher, but because I don't practice every day it sounds a ...

instrumental techniques

                                                               Practice routine I am working on all the aspects,  dexterity, technical ability, control of the instrument, apart from stamina for my personal practice routine. Dexterity:   First of all, for my dexterity, I try to play a note rhythm where I have to stretch my hand very much. After a while I find it easier to play normal chords. I write difficult chords on a sheet of paper, such as 'F-major' and many bar chords. At the end I try to play these chords in a fast rhythm and that for five minutes. In my opinion, this exercise is very exhausting and requires a very good concentration. Secondly, I play many different music styles one after the other.
