Genres spring up, fuse together and are redefine overnight. Hip hop techniques were incorporated into many of the new styles that were made. Musicians that had different musical backgrounds work together to integrate their style.

Contextual knowledge

How Unit 317 developed my contextual knowledge My contextual knowledge has improved so far that I now know more about the structure of pop music and what makes this kind of music so famous in the first place. In addition,  I now also know about how new inventions influenced the pop music. Progress on my instrument since the start of the course in relation to my targets for Unit 385 What I really wanted to do was to sing and play guitar at the same time, which can be very easy if you only play a couple of chords. But if you want to learn songs, where you have to pick the strings, it is a lot harder to stay firstly in the rhythm and secondly to hit the right notes.
